Jinan Haozhong Won Lawsuit Against Aotto Co., Ltd. for Commercial Defamation

In the case where Aotto Co., Ltd. was sued by Jinan Haozhong for commercial defamation, a civil judgment (2024) L 01 M Z No. 4199 was issued by the Jinan Intermediate People's Court on June 28, 2024. The actions of Jinan Aotto Automation Co., Ltd. were explicitly determined to constitute "commercial defamation" and "unfair competition". The company was ordered by the court to compensate Jinan Haozhong for economic losses and reasonable expenses totaling 50,000 yuan. Furthermore, it was mandated that within ten days of the judgment taking effect, an apology statement must be published by the company on the top of its official website and its WeChat official account for ten consecutive days.

In the commercial defamation dispute case involving Jinan Haozhong Automation Co., Ltd. and Jinan Aotto Automation Co., Ltd., a civil judgment (2024) L 01 M Z No. 4199 was issued by the Jinan Intermediate People's Court on June 28, 2024. It was determined that the publication of an article titled "Aotto Shares Wins First-Instance Judgment in Intellectual Property Infringement Case Against Jinan Haozhong" (Subsequently, the intellectual property case was overturned by the Supreme People's Court in the second instance, and our company's claims were rejected, resulting in Jinan Haozhong Automation Co., Ltd. winning the case) on the WeChat official account "Aotto Shares" on January 6, 2020, and on the company's official website www.aotto.cn on January 8, 2020, by our company had resulted in damage to the commercial reputation of Jinan Haozhong Automation Co., Ltd. The court mandated that an apology statement be published by our company in a prominent position on our official website and WeChat official account for ten consecutive days, starting from the effective date of the judgment, to mitigate the impact. In compliance with the aforementioned judgment, our company hereby solemnly declares: An apology is extended to Jinan Haozhong Automation Co., Ltd. for the losses and negative impacts engendered by our aforementioned actions.
